The two master classes that will be running at the Festival include:-
Arran Distillery - 1pm - 2pm
Balablair Distillery - 3pm - 4pm
You can expect to see some 'auld friends returning', and to taste some special drams whilst the distillery experts lead you on a journey to nose and taste through their range of products.  The master classes are for those who wish to learn a little bit more about whisky in an intimate but fun setting.  The emphasis is on interaction so participants can ask any question they wish or make their own observations about what they are drinking.  However, for those that prefer to simply sit back and listen, that is of course welcome as well.  You can book your masterclass tickets through the website on our tickets page.
Please be advised, in order to keep the classes intimate, the numbers are strictly limited.

Glenfarclas Distillery celebrated a unique milestone in its long history last year, having been owned by the Grants of Glenfarclas since the family signed the tenancy for Rechlerich Farm on 8th June 1865. As part of the transaction, the distillery was purchased for the princely sum of £511.19s.0d by John Grant, great, great grandfather of John L.S. Grant, the present Glenfarclas chairman.
